Java Developer. A Chippenham Wiltshire based IT solutions firm need a Java Developer to join their growing team. The Java Developer will be an experienced Java Developer with Java skills, JMS using Websphere MQ and DB2 amongst others. The Java Developer will work in a dynamic development team, exposed to consulting opportunities with a good personal development and training structure in place. The role will involve some travel to client sites, UK wide to provide consultancy, implementation and sales support.



The Java Developer will be degree qualified and will be an experience Java Developer. The Java Developer will need to be experienced in Java, OO development, JMS using websphere MQ and DB2. The Java Developer will benefit from further skills in XML, XSLT, HTML, DHTML, Javascript and UML. The Java Developer will need experience of scalable and fault tolerant java applications, customer requirements gathering, internet and business products and working within the IT development lifecycle. Further experience in Webwork2, TestNG, Hibernate3, Oracle and SQL databases, C++, C# and MS visual studio .NET and ASP.NET would be desirable, although not essential. The Java Developer will work in an environment with all of the above skills, in a training and development focused environment with exposure to the latest technologies, so what you don’t immediately have you will gain exposure to if successful.



Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Java Developer will be involved in software development project work and internal projects, client requirements gathering, authoring of business documents, system coding and delivery.



The Java Developer will not only be exposed to the latest technologies and training but will benefit from a competitive basic salary £35-40k plus bonus plus good benefits including pension, healthcare, insurances and share options.
